Manny Pacquiao, Shamcey Supsup and Gwendoline Ruais Cover PeopleAsia Magazine December 2011-January 2012 Issue

PeopleAisa Magazine is very pleased that they have world boxing icon Manny Pacquiao for the cover of their special “People of the Year” issue.

To add beauty to brawn, PeopleAsia Magazine also have two covers featuring Miss Universe 2011 third runner-up Shamcey Supsup and Miss World First Princess Gwendoline Ruais together with the pound-for-pound king. Like Rep. Pacquiao, these ladies have given our country so much pride and honor, which is why they saw fit to have the two beauty queens on separate covers.

Include also in this special issue of PeopleAsia Magazine is the awardees of the magazine's “People of the Year” Awards (see related article here).

This year's competition was held at Marriott Country Hall, London on October 29, 2011 along with Beach Beauty Fast Track. The winner of the competition automatically makes it into the semifinals.

The Miss World Philippines 2011 is Miss Gwendolyn Ruais of Muntinlupa City. The first-ever Miss World Philippines 2011 which offers the biggest prizes in the history of beauty pageants in the Philippines was held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) at the CCP complex in Pasay City. The pageant was hosted by GMA-7 artists Dingdong Dantes, Carla Abellana, and Isabelle Daza with special perfomances from Aljur Abrenica and Mark Bautista who sang the Miss World Philippines theme song.
