The Amazing Race Phillippines - How To Audition (Video)

The Amazing Race, the world’s most prestigious adventure race is now accepting applicants for audition for its first Philippine edition!

The twelve-time Emmy Award winner for “Outstanding Reality-Competition Program” arrives on local shores with an open call for contestants of The Amazing Race Philippines.

The show’s producers consider the Philippines as one of their favorite places to shoot, and now you can take part in this grand event too. If you want to audition to be part of the show then you might want to try out! There are three ways to audition: online, mail-in, and on-ground:

For online auditions: visit www.theamazingrace.ph for the link where you can fill up the online registration form and upload your audition video in AVI, MOV or MPG4 format. The audition video’s running time should be a minimum of 1 minute and maximum of 3 minutes.

For mail-in auditions: download the application forms at www.theamazingrace.ph and send the completed forms together with a DVD of your audition video to the TV5 office (21st floor Marajo Tower, 26th corner 4th sts. Bonifacio Global City, Taguig).

For on-ground auditions: watch out for announcements of audition dates on different venues. Both team members must be present and come prepared with the completed application package.

Sexiest Local Female Celebrity Poll - How To Vote

Who Is The Sexiest Local Female Celeb? is the title of the new poll exclusively conducted by INSIDEPINOYshowbiz.PH that was started on March 2, 2012.

Aside from publishing the Inside Showbiz magazine with Kapuso host Grace Lee on the cover of their March 2012 issue, INSIDEPINOYshowbiz also conducted an online poll to reach their fans for a vote. The poll is powered by celebrities' fans, tabulated online, real time results, transparent and free! As of this writing, Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu topped the poll with 59.56% equivalent to 97, 251 out of 163, 274 votes followed by Erich Gonzales, Maja Salvador, Sam Pinto and Jennylyn Mercado.

4th Shorty Awards (2012) - How to Nominate

The Shorty Awards honor the best of social media, by recognizing the people and organizations producing real-time short form content on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, YouTube, Foursquare, and the rest of the social Web.

The nomination period is January 3, 2012 through February 17, 2012 on Twitter and ShortyAwards.com and culminates in a New York City awards ceremony this spring.

How to Make Nominations

• To make a nomination, fill out the nomination form at ShortyAwards.com or send a tweet like this: I nominate @TwitterUser for a Shorty Award in #category because... [must add reason here].
• You can also tweet shorter nominations like this: #shortyawards @username #category [must add reason here].
• Be as creative with the reason. A tweet without a reason for the nomination will not be counted.
• The nomination must be relevant to the category.
• Vote for as many different people as you want, in as many categories as you want, as often as you want.
• Only one nominee and one category per tweet.
• Voting for the same person in the same category more than once simply replaces the text of your original vote; it does not count as an additional vote.
• You can vote in any of the featured categories or create a community category. If a community category becomes popular and has enough compelling finalists, it could become a featured category.
• Nominees and potential nominees (everyone on earth) are welcome to campaign and encourage friends to vote for them. Nominees are encouraged to take the Shorty Interview and embed campaign videos to help both voters and members of the Academy get to know them.

Just recently, after being acclaimed as YouTube singing sensation, Kapuso singer turned actress Julie Anne San Jose became more even popular internationally having lots of nominations from various awards. This time, Julie Ann was highly recognized in the 4th Shorty Awards having 4 nominations for a prize.

It’s that time of year again, the 4th Shorty Awards are taking nominations for your favourite Twitter personality’s!
