PAG-ASA Public Weather Forecast - Low Pressure Area (LPA) (November 17, 2011)

Issued at 10:30 a.m. today, November 17, 2011, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAG-ASA) forecasts that at 8 am today, The Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 440 km West of Coron, Palawan (13.4°N 116.0°E).While wind convergence affecting Northern Luzon.

Wind convergence affecting Eastern and Extreme Northern Luzon.

Eastern and Extreme Northern Luzon will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the East to Southeast will prevail over Luzon and Visayas and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the East to Northeast with slight to moderate seas.

At 8 am today, The Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 440 km West of Coron, Palawan (13.4°N 116.0°E).While wind convergence affecting Northern Luzon.

The wind convergence will bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over the eastern sections of Northern and Central Luzon.

With this development, this is the final advisory.
