Arnold Clavio's Comments About Azkals' Harassment Issue via 'Unang Hirit'

Arnold Clavio made it to the top spot in Twitter Philippines yesterday after the news anchor has made nasty comments about the Philippine Azkals on GMA-7's morning show 'Unang Hirit' on Tuesday, March 13, 2012. 

In the news segment of Unang Hirit's "Unang Balita", along with Connie Sison, Lyn Ching-Pascual and Rhea Santos, Arnold Clavio made his own frank opinion against the Philippine Azkals in connection with the news report about two of its members, Lexton Moy and Angel Guirado, who recently accused with a sexual harassment case filed by Former Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) President and now Azkals Match Commissioner Cristy Ramos. 

Here some of the words uttered by Arnold Clavio when he talked about the sexual harassment issue of two Azkals members:

"Talagang ano na, aral na sa inyo 'yan eh. Ang yayabang n'yo, 'kala n'yo. Porket dinadagsa na kayo ng fans, ang ga-gwapo n'yo eh no. Parang God's gift to women...

"Sana nagsorry, sorry na lang talaga di ba? Hindi ko kayo kakultura... Kasi wala dito't, wala dito eh...

"Hindi naman kayo Pilipino, nagpapanggap lang kayong kayumanggi. Eh 'di dito lumaki, mahirap 'yun...

"Alam naman nila ang s-excapades nila eh... Sino nagpenicillin, alam naman nila o...

"Akala siguro nila lahat gusto silang matikman siguro, makasama, Diyos ko!..."

Early this evening, GMA News Online releases Arnold's response to criticisms about the recent remarks he made about the sexual harassment case currently faced by some members of the Philippine Azkals:

"Mga igan, nakakalungkot na may negatibong reaksyon ang naging pahayag ko tungkol sa Philippine Azkals kaugnay ng sexual harassment complaint ni Ms. Cristy Ramos. Wala po akong ganoong intensyon. Ang isyu po rito ay sexual harassment at kung may nagamit man po akong mga salita na hindi angkop, nagpapakumbaba po ako at humihingi ng pang-unawa. Dun naman po sa mga kasama kong nanindigan laban sa sexual harassment, maraming salamat po. Seryoso pong isyu ito na dapat bantayan."
