Issued at 5:00 a.m. today, November 22, 2011, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAG-ASA) forecasts that there is a Northeast Monsoon prevailing over Luzon. Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Mindanao.

Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms becoming cloudy with widespread rains over the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon and Visayas which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. The rest of Luzon will have mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Northeast will prevail over Luzon and Visayas and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the Northeast with slight to moderate seas.
