PAG-ASA Public Weather Forecast - Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) (November 18, 2011)

Issued at 5:00 p.m. today, November 18, 2011, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAG-ASA) forecasts that there is an Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Mindanao including Palawan.

Forecast:

Mindanao will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to at times cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the East to Southeast will prevail over Northern Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the East to Northeast with slight to moderate seas.
Severe Weather Bulletin 

As of today, there is no tropical cyclone affecting the Philippines.
