ABS-CBN's news website abs-cbnnews.com received the award for Television News Category at the SPI 100 Web
Awards from the DigitalFilipino.com held at the Peninsula Manila Hotel in Makati City on Friday, February 24, 2012. INQUIRER.net, Yahoo Philippines, PEP.ph and other websites also won in their respective category.
abs-cbnnews.com received the award for Television News Category at the SPI 100 Web
Awards. Meanwhile, INQUIRER.net, the online news company under the Inquirer Group of Companies received the award for Print News Category. Yahoo Philippines on the other hand, received the award for Portal Category while PEP.ph won for Entertainment Category.
The honor received by the websites from The
DigitalFilipino.com, was in “recognition of its excellence to
successfully harness the Internet for online marketing, social
engagement and e-commerce.”
