Regional Training Program on Sign Language and Seminars on Special Education (SPED) (DepEd Memo No. 15 s. 2012)

The Department of Education (DepEd) releases on Monday, January 30, 2012 the DepEd Memo No. 15 s. 2012, re: REGIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM ON SIGN LANGUAGE AND SEMINARS ON SPECIAL EDUCATION (SPED).


The Department of Education (DepEd) through the Special Education (SPED) Division, Bureau of Elementary Education (BEE) in coordination with the LINK Center for the Deaf, and in partnership with the Boeing Global Corporate Citizenship will conduct the Regional Training Program on Sign Language and Seminars on Special Education (SPED) which has two (2)-phases: 1st Phase and 2nd Phase on the different dates and venues.

This program is composed of Sign Language Training and Seminars in Special Education as well as formal Sign Language Evaluation in the Basic and Intermediate Levels by the Philippine Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (PRID).
