25th PMPC Star Awards for TV 2011 - List of Winners

The Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) presented its 25th Star Awards for Television on Tuesday night, November 22, 2011.



Hosted by Richard Gomez, Dawn Zulueta, Piolo Pascual and Shamcey Supsup, the star-studded silver anniversary of PMPC Star Awards for TV was held on Tuesday night, November 22, 2011 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Resorts World of Manila, Pasay City attended by various stars of the 3 biggest networks GMA, ABS-CBN and TV5.

The awards night was opened by Miss Saigon Lea Salonga and the PGT Season 3 finalist El Gamma Penumbra. This was followed by a special number of Toni Gonzaga, KC Concepcion, Erik Santos at Sam Milby; and for finale, a dance medley rendered by the VIP Dancers (with choreographer Maribeth Bichara) and Pauleen Luna and a closing number given by Ai Ai delas Alas.

This year’s Lifetime Achievement awardee is the drama anthology Maala-ala Mo Kaya, and the showbiz-oriented talk show host Boy Abunda was presented by Nora Aunor for winning the award in 15 times.

Last year, the longest running noontime show Eat Bulaga was also inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Meanwhile, the Ading
Fernando Lifetime Achievement Award was bestowed to Ms. Susan Roces and the Excellence in Broadcasting Lifetime Achievement Award to Ms. Jessica Soho.
