Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2012 - List of Winners

See the full list of 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards winners which was revealed on March 31, 2012 from the University of Southern California Galen Center in Los Angeles.

Hosted by Will Smith, Selena Gomez was the big winner at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards in Los Angeles on March 31.

The singer and actress took home two awards, one for Favorite TV Actress for the now defunct Wizards of Waverly Place and a second gong for Favorite Female Singer at the ceremony in which according to TV Guide, over 220 million votes were cast 20 categories.

Halle Berry, Justin Bieber and Taylor Lautner weren't safe from the slime at Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards 2012. Not even host Will Smith was spared from the green goo.

Taylor Lautner took home the special blimp shaped award for Favorite Butt Kicker and was forced to complete 1,000 push-ups by host Will before also getting slimed.

First Lady Michelle Obama, who was on hand to present Taylor Swift with the Big Help Award.

Charice, the international singing sensation hailed as the Favorite Asian Act beating the other nominees including Wonder Girls from South Korea, Yuna from Malaysia and Agnes Monica from Indonesia.

Katy Perry—who won an award for her work in The Smurfs movie—was the first performer, singing "Part of Me" and declared ''The only reason I'm here today is because I've never grown up. I can't wait to do Smurfs 2.''

Boyband One Direction performed "What Makes You Beautiful" while Katy, Taylor and Selena proved they are fans of the five piece by dancing in the audience and singing along to all the words.

During a Kids' Choice Awards, sometimes a celebrity might not know when they are going to be slimed onstage or offstage. Hosts have also been slimed, mostly in the finale of the show.

The Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, also known as the KCAs or Kids Choice Awards, is an annual awards show that airs on the Nickelodeon cable channel, which airs live and is usually held and telecast live (though with a three-hour time delay for those watching in the Pacific Time Zone or on the Nick 2 feed on digital cable that simulcasts the Pacific time zone feed) on a Saturday night in late March or early April, that honors the year's biggest television, movie, and music acts, as voted by Nickelodeon viewers. Winners receive a hollow orange blimp figurine, a logo outline for much of the network's 1984-2009 era, which also functions as a kaleidoscope.
