PRC I.D. Printing Schedule to Normalize Soon

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 that the printing schedules of the PRC identification card will be back to the normal in a week or two, after it shall have wiped out the backlog in the printing of the ID cards. The release of the cards was delayed recently due to the failure of bidding for the supply and printing of the cards.

The PRC said the winning contractor for the printing of the ID cards is now working round the clock to address the backlog, in addition to the daily requests for ID cards. Thus, the Commission estimates that in a week or two, it will be back to the normal schedule of 15 days for the PRC ID cards to be released. Its ID express lane, which assures same-day printing of the professional ID, will resume its full operations on April 2, 2012.

The PRC added that it will be posting on this website the names of professionals as soon as their IDs are ready for pick up or have been endorsed to the regions for release. Those with pending claims are advised to check the website to check on the status of their applications for renewal of the PRC cards.
