Winners of the 6th Asian Film Awards revealed during the awarding ceremony at Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Center on Monday, March 19, 2012 and 2 Filipinos versatile actresses won major trophies.
Eugene Domingo for the 'Ang Babae sa Septic Tank' (The Woman in The Septic Tank) and Shamaine Buencamino for 'Niño' won 2 major trophies at the 6th Asian Film Awards ceremony in Hong Kong on Monday.
Domingo took home the People's Choice Award for Favourite Actress while Buencamino won the Best Supporting Actress award, up against Gwei Lun-mei of "The Flying Swords of Dragon Gate" (Hong Kong
/ Mainland China); Cris Horwang of "Headshot" (Thailand); Mitsushima
Hikari of "Hara-Kiri: Death of a Samurai" (Japan); and Yan Ni of "11
Flowers" (Mainland China / France).
