Miss International 2011 is Maria Fernanda Cornejo (Ecuador) - List of Winners

The Miss International 2011 (51st Edition)  in Sichuan Opera Theatre, in Chengdu, China has recently concluded last Sunday evening, November 6, 2011 and Maria Fernanda Cornejo, top model and Miss International Ecuador 2011, was declared winner.

 

Out of this year's 67 candidates, Miss Ecuador María Fernanda Cornejo won the most coveted crown in the Miss International 2011. Venezuela's Jessica Barbour was named 1st-runner up while Miss Mongolia Tugsuu Idersaikhan, Miss Puerto Rico Desiree Del Rio, Miss Panama Keity Mendieta were hailed 2nd-, 3rd- and 4th-runner-up, respectively.

Maria Fernanda succeeded last year's Miss International titleholder, Elizabeth Mosquera of Venezuela. 

Meanwhile, Miss Philippines Dianne Necio made it to Top 15, but failed to get the crown. She got Miss Internet Popularity special award instead.
