Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA) 2011 - List of Winners

The annual Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA) is the Archdiocese of Manila’s way of honoring communications. The CMMA, which is composed of bishops, is considered as one of the most credible award-giving bodies in the Philippines that recognizes the best achievements in the industry based on the human and divine standards of program on radio, print and TV, as well as advertising and film . This year's 33rd CMMA was held at the San Carlos Seminary in Makati City last Wednesday Night, October 19, 2011 that was hosted by Kapamilya talents Anne Curtis and Vhong Navarro.

CMMA granted the Hall of Fame award to "TV Patrol" for Best News Program on TV, "Rated K," as Best Magazine Program on TV, "MMK" in DZMM as Radio Best Drama and the "TV Patrol" in DZMM as Best Radio News Program.
Ramon Revilla, Sr. received the Lifetime Achievement Award and Miss Susan Roces was tasked to pay tribute to the recipient.
Meanwhile, GMA-7's "24 Oras" won the Best News Program award, and Jessica Soho's highly acclaimed newscast "State of the Nation" received the Best News Magazine Show award.

Special Citation for Best Public Service Program – Public Attorni (TV5)
Best Children and Youth Program – Wansapanataym (ABS-CBN)
Special Citation for Best Children and Youth Program – Tropang Potchi (GMA-7)
Best TV Production – Mata Mo, Paa Ko (Documentary) of Letran
Best Station ID – “Ngayong Pasko, Magniningning ang Pilipino” (ABS-CBN)
Best Entertainment Program – Party Pilipinas (GMA-7)
Best Entertainment Program – US Girls (Studio 23)
Best Comedy Program – Pepito Manaloto (GMA-7)
Best Talk Show – Mel and Joey (GMA-7)
