Sa Aklat Sisikat (SAS) Foundation and the Computer Access Mentorship Program (DepEd Memo No. 17 s. 2012)

The Department of Education (DepEd) releases on Friday, February 3, 2012 the DepEd Memo No. 17 s. 2012, re: SA AKLAT SISIKAT (SAS) FOUNDATION AND THE COMPUTER ACCESS MENTORSHIP PROGRAM.


In collaboration with the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, (BSP), the Sa Aklat Sikat (SAS) Foundation launched the Computer Access Mentorship Program (CAMP) in 2010. The Program supports the DepEd's thrust to continuously improve the teaching of reading in the elementary schools, Under this program, the SAS Foundation has developed computer laboratories or CAMP sites in the Boy Scouts Council Offices (BSCOs) nationwide to train the elementary teachers on the latest methods of teaching reading on-line.
