One of the biggest undertakings of GMA Artist Center (GMAAC) this year, a high-end magazine called Profiles that showcases the country’s biggest stars inside GMA Network, has come into being.
Created, crafted, dedicated and published specifically for the brightest talents of the network, Profiles have had its star-studded grand launch last November 8, 2011 at the Rizal Ballroom of Makati Shangri-La Hotel skillfully conceptualized by one of the most excellent directors in the country today –Freddie Santos, and made grandiose by the production design of Bong Gacho.
Profiles maiden edition is exclusively featuring GMAAC’s prime stars as cover girls and boys – Iza Calzado, Rhian Ramos, Aljur Abrenica, Tim Yap, Solenn Heusaff, Jackie Rice and Lovi Poe are featured individually. Three covers feature more than one artist: Gwen Zamora and Sarah Lahbati are featured together; Jace Flores, Gino de la Pena, Stephanie Henares and Luane Dy are in the hosts edition; and Kris Bernal and Bela Padilla sandwich Aljur Abrenica in one version. The premier issue also has features on GMA Network’s prized icons Manny Pacquiao, Cesar Montano, Ogie Alcasid and Bong Revilla, to name just a few.

Among other magazines, Profiles is unique since it will have several cover lay-outs, top GMAAC artists in their respective fields.
This project is a collaboration between GMA Artist Center with PREF Media and with the help of Mega Publishing. The person behind Pref Media, Rose Basa has carved a sturdy name in the real estate business and Profiles will be her first venture into entertainment publishing.
