GMA Network 2011 Christmas Short Film Festival

Now on its SIXTH year, GMA Network comes out with its annual Christmas Short Films featuring Kapuso celebrities in the most heartwarming holiday stories.


This Christmas 2011, GMA Marketing and Productions, Inc. (GMPI), the sales and marketing subsidiary of GMA Network, Inc. (GMA), brings a showcase of specially-produced short films with its annual campaign dubbed, Christmas Short Film Festival.

Since 2006, the project has become an effective tool to communicate Christmas messages to the market. Now on its sixth year, the campaign is backed by different major sponsors, namely, Aji Ginisa, So Lucky, Goldilocks, Alaska, Cebuana Lhuillier, Lactum 3+, Western Union, Maggi Magic Sarap, Bear Brand Adult Plus and Argentina Andale Hotdog.

This Short Films, each produced with the several advertisers, serve as a platform to deliver inspiring Christmas stories. Among the Kapuso stars featured  this year in the Christmas stories are child star Jillian Ward, Perla Bautista, Kapuso Hunk Dingdong Dantes, Isay Alvarez, Ruffa Mae Quinto, Sid Lucero, Dennis Trillo, Isabel Oli, Dominic Roco and Jennylyn Mercado.

The Short Films were creatively made by seasoned directors, namely, Mikko Avelino, Louie Ignacio, Raul Jorolan, Dragon Pineda, Topel Lee, Paul Soriano and Treb Monteras II.

This year's Christmas Short Films has started to air over the Kapuso Network already in different commercial breaks. These Short Films are entitled Jillian's Gift, Hating Kapatid, Secret Santa, Kabisera, Stella, Christmas Morning, OFW, Manila Snow, Big Boy and Bag . Watch it  here:


















Also watch out for an exclusive 1-hour special that will feature Director's Cut versions of the short films and behind-the-scene videos (by Internationally acclaimed videographer Jason Magbanua) only in GMA 7, SNBO, Dec. 18, 2011 with a replay on GNTV on Dec. 22, 2011.
