24th Aliw Awards 2011 - List of Winners

The 24th Aliw Awards (2011) announced open nominations last October 2011 and had its awarding ceremony last Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila which was directed by Joey Nombres.


The Aliw Awards honors the outstanding people in the field of performing arts industry. It was founded in 1976 by Alice H. Reyes and its current president is Atty. Jeatte Palabrica.

King of Talk Boy Abunda received the Hall of Fame Award for his outstanding contributions to the field of live entertainment.

Meanwhile, today's hottest Love-team and GMA-7's talent "JULIELMO" - Julie Ann San Jose and Elmo Magalona won the Best Teen Male and Female Performer.
