According to Cory Quirino, the pageant director of Miss World Philippines, the judges will surely have a hard time choosing the country’s candidate to the 2011 Miss World because all of the pageant finalists are beautiful and worthy of the Miss World Philippines crown. The candidates will now undergo training in preparation for the pageant night. Relative to this, GMA News reported that starting August 10, 2011, the candidates will undergo series of trainings like personality development, catwalk modeling and language lessons.

Being the first edition of Miss World Philippines, the beauty pageant will be aired by GMA Network, the official media partner. The theme song will be composed and arranged by Louie Ocampo, while Eduardo Castrillo will create the trophies for titlists. The crown and scepter however was designed by Singaporean socialite and beauty pageant enthusiast Miss Beverly Tan (see below).
