DepEd Order No. 63, s. of 2011:
DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION (DepEd) SEAL
In pursuant to the Rule 8, Chapter 6, Section 49, 50 and 51, of Republic Act (RA) No. 8491 otherwise known as the Flag and Heraldic Code of the Philippines, the Office of the Secretary through DepEd Order No. 63, s. of 2011, has released on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 the official seal of the Department of Education (DepEd) duly approved by the Office of the President, Malacañang, Manila.
It is stated in the said Order that the official seal shall be utilized in all official communications, and it shall be released to all DepEd national, regional, division, district, schools, and other field offices.

Update: Early this week of March 2012, we’ve noticed that the Department of Education (DepEd) has redesign or changed the color of its new logo, different from the official seal that was released last year (see here).
